Portraits
Below are a few of the 100's of portraits I have done, most since 2002.  All of these are graphite (pencil) on paper.  The graphite is applied with an art pencil and smoothed onto the paper with a small paintbrush or other smudging tool.  Highlights are created using a kneaded eraser and fewer pencil lines.  Very light, small areas like eye lights and jewelry sparkles are sometimes done with white acrylic paint after the portrait is finished.
