The Light Lines Series - 2007

The paintings below are all similar in that they portray figures and objects, together and intertwining, formed by lines and areas of contrasting color and light with dark.  They also tend to be rather large.  All of them have many layers underneath of random patterns and lines, shapes, colors , dark areas and light.  Some of them have sand and acrylic modeling paste added for three dimensional texture.  These many layers are visible more or less to the conscious mind but the subconscious mind sees much more.  You will see different patterns and shapes and colors depending on what source of light illuminates the painting, how you are feeling and who you are viewing the painting with.
