Clouds, Skies, Lakes
I love trying to capture the lights and colors of clouds, nebulas, and water on a two-dimensional surface.

With that in mind I began working with more texture and moving the color onto the painting surface in different ways and with different mediums. By adding sand, acrylic, and other textures to the surface of the painting, paths are formed for the color to move within and around.  The textures and my ways of guiding the color allows for patterns and shapes to occur naturally, as they do on the land, in the sky, and beyond.

The acrylic mediums hold it all together and make for a durable, touchable surface.
